Choices

In life there are many choices to make;
What to wear, what risks to take.
You have a choice of what to wear
And how to cut or comb your hair.
You have the choice to stand strong,
To put things right when you've done wrong.
To stay up all night, to start a fight,
To convince yourself that you're alive.
When you touch the fire and feel dead.
When you'd much rathre give up instead,
When your whole world comes crashing down,
When innocent people die all around,
When lifes at it's worst but you can't cry,
When you fall in the arms of your dead-lover guy,
When all hope seems lost,
When your life is the cost,
When you know you can't win,
When you want to give in..
You fight.
You fight yourself to feel alive,
You fight the demons deep inside,
You fight for others, risk your life.
To make sure things turn out right
When these are the choices you have to make,
When there's no room for one mistake,
When you make these choices, always, like her,
You'll know what it's like to be Buffy, the Slayer.
